Association québécoise de voile adaptée (AQVA)

At the AQVA, we believe that sport is a powerful driver of inclusion and personal growth. Our mission: to offer children and adults living with physical or sensory disabilities, regardless of severity, the opportunity to discover the freedom of sailing and to push their limits on the water. Our activities take place in Pointe-Claire, and we also support our affiliated organizations in Gaspésie and Eastern Townships, in order to make adapted sailing accessible to even more enthusiasts.

And, since then, every summer, it is with immense pleasure that I rediscover the joy of being on the water with a young sailor to pilot the sailboat. My favorite moment? At the end of the day, when the sun sets on Lake Saint-Louis. I experience almost ecstatic moments that I share with the young person accompanying me.
