    AQVA Montreal will be kicking off the 2018 season with a Happy Hour event on Wednesday, May 30th Time :  5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.   A cold buffet (free) will be offered starting at 6:00 PM.  Meet our instructors, and get details of the 2018 sailing season and program.

    Sailboat in honor of Doug Webb

    Launching of a brand new Martin 16 sailboat in honor of the late Mr. Doug Webb, President and ambassador of “Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion – Pointe-Claire” with attending family, friends, committee members and dignitaries.

    We warmly thank all the people who contributed to the project and whose names appear on a commemorative plaque unveiled during the event.

  • 20th anniversary celebrated

    20th anniversary celebrated

    AQVA celebrated its 20th anniversary at Pointe-Claire Yacht Club on June 18th with a presentation and party in the Sail Shed.  It was attended by approximately seventy people who have all contributed to the growth and development of AQVA, in one way or another.

    AQVA - Montreal has received a very generous donation from the Martin Matte Foundation!  The funds will be used for the following projects:

    - A new adapted bathroom with a ceiling-track lift and a changing table
    - A new access ramp to the dock.  The ramp will be wider and have a sturdy railing.
    - Two new lifts for transfers
